eCourts Portal of Western Australia - Help: Criminal Injuries Compensation (CIC) Recoveries


To view and pay a CIC debt you do not need to register an account or be logged in. 

01. From the home screen click Pay CIC Recoveries.

The CIC Recoveries screen displays.

02. Enter the person’s CRN and Surname.

Details are entered.

03. Enter the captcha code.

The captcha code is entered.

04. Click Search.

The CIC debt(s) for the person are displayed.

05. To make a payment against a CIC debt, select which of them you wish to make a payment against.

A tick appears against these ones and the Pay Now button becomes active.

06. Enter the amount you wish to pay into the Payment Amount field and click the Pay Now button.

The CIC Recoveries Details screen displays.

It lists the selected CIC debts.

06. Complete the fields:

  • Card Number
  • Card Name
  • Card Type
  • Expiry (MM/YY)
  • CVV2/CVC2

07. Click Submit.

A confirmation popup appears.

08. Click OK.

The popup closes.

The Payment Status screen displays.

09. Keep the browser open whilst the payment is being processed.

Once processing is complete the CIC Recoveries Payment Summary screen displays.

10. Press Print to print a copy of the receipt (or to save to PDF).

11. Press Home to return to the eCourts Portal home screen.
