Magistrates Court

  • Claims
    • lodge initiating applications through Magistrates Courts Assisted Lodgment. Lodge other claim document types through eLodgment.
    • search for and view matters via the Search for Matters function within eLodgment 
  • Criminal Information
    • a person registered with the eCourts Portal as themselves, can access the Criminal Information link and view data relating to them as an offender/accused.
    • a person registered as a law firm can access the Criminal Information link and search for/view accused/offenders.
    • a person registered as a prosecuting agency can access the Criminal Information link and search for/view accused/offenders where their agency link to the charge(s).
  • Extraordinary Licence (EDL)
    • lodge initiating EDL applications through the Extraordinary Licence Assisted Lodgment wizard. Lodge other EDL document types through eLodgment.
    • search for and view EDL matters via the Search for Matters function within eLodgment 
  • Plea of Guilty/Not Guilty
    • a person registered with the eCourts Portal as themselves can lodge a plea via the Lodge a Plea of Guilty/Not Guilty Assisted Lodgment wizard.
    • a person registered as a law firm can lodge a plea on behalf of an accused via the Criminal Information page.
  • Prosecution Notice (PN)
    • a prosecuting agency can lodge a PN via the Lodge Prosecution Notices wizard.
  • Residential Tenancies (RSTN)
    • lodge initiating applications through Magistrates Courts Assisted Lodgment. Lodge other RSTN document types through eLodgment.
    • search for and view RSTN matters via the Search for Matters function within eLodgment 
    • view notices of Residential Tenancy Applications (where the address of the respondent is unknown) via Notice of Residential Tenancies. Click here for more information.
  • Restraining Orders (RO)
    • approved legal service providers may use eLodgment to lodge initiating Family Violence Restraining Order and Violence Restraining Order applications.
    • lodge other types of initiating RO applications through the Restraining Order Assisted Lodgment wizard.
    • lodge all other types of RO documents through eLodgment.
    • RO matters cannot be viewed through the eCourts Portal due to their sensitive nature.
